Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

One of the questions many believers make when they are going through rough times is “Can God see what I’m going through?”  These and many more, you will usually hear from the mouths of many. But the truth remains that the fact that God sees what is going on in your life, it does not mean, He will intervene in your life without your invitation. You must understand that God sees all things, He knows the situation you are going through; but trust me, He will only intervene, when you choose to bring Him into the matter by faith. Many believers today make the mistake of thinking that God will come and intervene in their lives, without an invitation. So, they keep wishing and thinking God will do something.

Beloved, you have to understand that there are protocols for divine intervention. If God will intervene in your life, you must be disciplined enough to invite Him into the matter through prayers and supplication. Unfortunately, many believers do not want to go through this route. They feel that since God is all powerful, He should do what He is supposed to do.

But the Kingdom of God doesn’t work that way. God in His infinite mercy does not violate our will. He has given us the ability to choose. Therefore, He won’t force Himself on you or violate your ability to choose. So, if you want to see God intervene in your life, you must be willing to invite Him into that situation. You must be willing to partner with God to make an intervention possible. The best way to do this, is to have faith in God, and approach the throne of grace with boldness. In Philippians 4:6, the Bible says “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

If you do this diligently and continually in faith, you will be amazed at the intervention you will receive. So, go ahead and invite God into that matter today and be ready to receive a surprise from God. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful message. I refuse to fear or complain. Instead I choose to continually come before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the name of Jesus. Amen!
