“…stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes (in the using), but strive and work and produce rather for the (lasting) food which endures (continually) unto life eternal…” — John 6:27 (AMPC)
Having spoken in detail about why it is important to invest your life in the work of the kingdom in the first part of this article, it is good for you to take this subject very seriously because today, many people are not looking in this direction. They are willing to spend their lives doing every other thing except the work of the kingdom. But like we said in the first part of this article, God’s plan for this age is already in motion. The harvest is already going on and God’s laborers are already in the field. The question is, will you be a part of the laborers that God is sending out there to bring in the harvest? Remember, you can afford to make a mistake in the investment of your money, talent and time, but if you make a mistake with what you invest your life in, it is a total waste of a lifetime.
So if you do not want to waste your lifetime, consider abandoning yourself to God and His end-time plan. The Bible already has made us know that it is not the will of God for any man to perish (2 Peter 3:9 ) meaning that God’s number one desire is to see that man is saved from the eternal hopelessness that awaits all who have not received Christ into their lives. So join this vision, and spend the rest of your life to pursue it. Do not be like some out there who are running away from God’s work. They are willing to spend their lives doing things that will not bring salvation to any man or bring joy to heaven. But when it comes to investing their lives in the work to see men saved and established in the faith, they draw back. How sad it will be for them on the last day. So I admonish you to make a conscious decision today to abandon yourself to God and the work of the ministry. It is the greatest investment you will ever make that will speak for you beyond this world. Praise God!

The greatest investment you can make with your life is to invest in the work of the ministry, it is the guarantee of a well-lived life and a glorious eternity!

Thank you, heavenly Father, for your grace and love towards me. I thank you for helping me understand the importance of investing my life well. Henceforth, I declare that my life will be spent wisely and used to do things that will bring you glory and bring joy to heaven, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
