“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” — Proverbs 24:3-4 (ESV)

Desiring great results is one thing, but acquiring the necessary knowledge to achieve them is another. Our opening scripture offers profound insight, stating: “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” — Proverbs 24:3-4 (ESV). This illustrates how wisdom, understanding, and knowledge each play critical roles in building and enriching a life.

Think of your life as a house. Wisdom lays the foundation and builds it, understanding establishes its structure, and knowledge fills it with treasures. Simply put, knowledge is essential for abundance and fruitful outcomes.

This year, make it a priority to invest in knowledge. Whatever you aim to accomplish, take the time to learn and grow in that area. Without knowledge, progress is limited. Unfortunately, many people today underestimate the value of learning and shy away from investing in education or resources. This reluctance often leads to stagnation.

However, you can choose a different path. Embrace a mindset of growth and seek knowledge relentlessly. No one knows everything, and there is always room to learn. Acknowledge this truth and commit to lifelong learning. Even now, I recognize that there are countless things I have yet to understand. Over the years, I have committed myself to learning, investing in books, courses, and other resources to enhance my skills—and it has made a tremendous difference in my journey.

The Bible confirms the importance of knowledge, saying: “A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might.” — Proverbs 24:5 (ESV). This year, focus on learning in the areas where you want to see results. The more knowledge you acquire, the more equipped you will be to achieve exceptional outcomes. Hallelujah!
