“….do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2(NKJV)

In part one of this article, we took out time to analyze the importance of improving your thought pattern so that changes can occur in your life. Now, we are going to be looking at something significant that the Bible said. The Bible lets us know in Proverbs 23:7 that “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” meaning if you are always thinking, “You can’t” then you truly will not. If you are always having a mentality or lack and want, you will always see yourself in lack but if you are supply conscious, that is what you will always have. If you always see yourself as a man who needs help, you will always find yourself needing help but if you will see yourself as the one who helps, God will position you in a place to help people. Over the years, I have come across people who always think that they should be helped by people andI discovered they have been in such a position for a very long time. They are always looking out for who to help them and when they don’t get it, they get offended. They do not know that that thought pattern has brought limitations to their lives.

However, if your case is going to be different, you must make a conscious decision to think differently.  Deliberately work on how you think and the way you think. Sometimes the devil may tempt you to think small or think negatively but don’t give in to it. Instead, use the word of God to change how you think. Think big, dream big, aspire high, think victory and don’t think defeat. Stop thinking you can’t handle certain things because you don’t have the means. Start thinking like an overcomer not the overcome, stop thinking like an oppressed but the one who is in charge for this is the reason the Bible says “….do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may know what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2
