Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. —John 12:24 (NKJV)
In my quest to understand why some people are fruitful and others are not, I made a life-changing discovery. I took the time to study successful and fruitful people and discovered one common trait: dedication. These individuals were passionate and dedicated to their work, and as a result, they became extremely productive.
Beloved, if you want to be fruitful in this world, you must be dedicated to what you do. Some believe fruitfulness is a matter of chance or family wealth. This mindset leads them to blame everyone else for their failures, thinking their lives would be better if only they had different opportunities or a privileged background.
While those factors might seem true, the greater truth is that genuine fruitfulness doesn’t come from your connections. It comes from personal conviction and dedication to what you do. It’s not about where you are or what you have; it’s about who you are.
If you are dedicated, you will be fruitful, because your dedication helps determine the opportunities that come your way and what you accomplish with them. Therefore, I encourage you to cultivate the habit of dedication. As our opening scripture says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” This shows that until you are fully given to what you do, you cannot be truly fruitful.
A wise person once said, “When your life becomes a seed, the world becomes your harvest field.” When your life is sown like a seed through dedication, a harvest becomes the natural result. So, what are you waiting for? Be dedicated in all you do, because dedication brings out your potential, and your potential brings in the harvest. Praise God!
