“Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill these jars with water.’ They filled them to the brim, and then he told them, ‘Now draw some water out and take it to the man in charge of the feast.’ They took him the water, which now had turned into wine, and he tasted it. He did not know where this wine had come from (but, of course, the servants who had drawn out the water knew); so he called the bridegroom and said to him, ‘Everyone else serves the best wine first, and after the guests have drunk a lot, he serves the ordinary wine. But you have kept the best wine until now!’ Jesus performed this first miracle in Cana in Galilee; there he revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.” —John 2:7-11 (GNT)

Beloved, are you going through some very difficult situations right now? I have good news for you: Jesus turned water into wine. You might ask, “How does that concern me?” It concerns you because if the Lord could turn water into a sweet wine that satisfied everyone, it means that no matter how bad your situation may look, it can still be turned around for good.

I know this might sound strange, but let’s analyze it. The wine was gone, and there was no other way for them to get more. However, when Jesus heard about this, He asked the servants to fill the jars they used for purification with water.

Now, because the servants had been told to do whatever He said, they didn’t question His authority; they simply obeyed. To their greatest surprise, ordinary water became wine. They didn’t hear Him pray or do anything spectacular. All they heard was an instruction, and when they carried it out, a hopeless situation turned around for good.

They went from having no wine to having so much wine, and it was far better than the first batch. This shows us that miracles still take place. If our Lord could turn that hopeless situation around, He can turn your situation around as well.

All that is required of you is to cast your care upon Him, believe, and watch Him turn that situation around. Remember, the Bible says, “Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.” —1 Peter 5:7 (GNT). Hallelujah!
