“…and the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon…” Deuteronomy 3:2 (NKJV)n
Most people have not come to understand that the day they gave their life to Christ they were given preference above others who are not in Christ. Being a Christian is the best thing that could happen to anyone and the earlier we start realizing it the better. One thing you must understand is that the life of a Christian is one that is destined to win, no matter the situations we find ourselves in. We can see this clearly in our opening scripture where God told the children of Israel to have no fear because He already gave them the victory. This means that in the midst of your trials and your pain, in the midst of that situation that wants to cripple you, God has set you apart to receive victory.
You must understand that the promises of victory God gave to the children of Israel was not theirs alone but also those of us who have come into the fold through our faith in Christ Jesus. That’s why the Bible said, “… if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise….” Galatians 3:29 (NKJV). From this, we see that the Bible has clearly stated that anyone who is in Christ is a seed of Abraham and an heir according to the promise. Now, this is really big and I hope you are able to catch it. If you can, no situation will overwhelm you, keep you down or hold you back because you have discovered who you are and the inheritance you have in Christ Jesus. Even when the devil tries to put pressure on you, you will not be moved, because you know for sure that you are different and that difference is because of the choice you made to be in Christ Jesus. Therefore, no matter what you are facing right now, have no fear. Always remember that you are victorious irrespective of the situation you have found yourself in.

Confession for the Day
Glorious and ever living Father, I thank you for all that you put in me when I gave my life to Christ. I thank you because indeed I win over those situations threatening my life, I win over those situations that have refused to let me go. I Declare that the winner in me has come alive and is in full control in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
