“…then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven…” Matthew 18:2-4 (NKJV)

When I was growing up as a little child, there were so many stories I was told that I believed to be true until I became an adult and realized that what I believed didn’t make any sense at all. One such story was the story of Santa Claus. I always thought Santa Claus was real and that you could write him a letter and make a wish, which he would bring to pass. When I grew up I realized they were just stories I was told, but the fact here is that as a child I believed the story and many other stories like that because that is what I was told.

Now, children believe everything you tell them without questioning if it’s really true. If you tell a child that Jesus is God, he will believe. If you tell a child that “Jesus will save you anytime you are in trouble”, he will believe. Even if you tell a child that “Jesus will be with you everywhere you go”, the child will believe without doubting you. Well, this attitude is what God is asking from all of us. And to believe like a child, you do not question everything about God, His ability, His works and His existence. God wants us to believe in His miracle-working ability and His ability to do the impossible. God wants you to believe because it’s your faith in Him and in what He can do for you that gives you the victory over satanic plotting and agendas in your life. You are God’s child and He has given you His word in the Bible, if you can hold on to every word of promise as contained in the word of God, having no doubt but increasing from faith to faith, you will begin to experience the miracle-working power of God in your life. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

The word of God has been given to us for our victory, all we are expected to do is believe it!

Confession for the Day

My Lord and my God! I thank you for putting your wisdom and power into the things that cost us nothing but our faith. I declare that from today, I will believe every word you have spoken to me through your words and as I do so, I emerge a victor in all things. Amen!
