For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” —Romans 1:17 (NKJV)
As we journey in our Christian walk, a major attitude we must maintain in all situations is an attitude of faith. This perspective goes a long way in determining what the outcome of any situation will be. Whether we are going to emerge victoriously or be defeated in any matter is completely dependent on the inner posture we choose to maintain.
Therefore, in all you do, make a conscious decision to operate from a standpoint of faith. Refuse to cower in the face of adversity or be intimidated by your adversary. Confront all situations with an unwavering confidence, knowing that God is for you and His power is at work on your behalf.
A perfect example of those who maintained an attitude of faith is found in the account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. They faced a life-threatening situation but stood their ground with absolute conviction. A decree had been given for everyone to bow to the image set up by King Nebuchadnezzar, but they bluntly refused to yield to the threat, even though they knew it could cost them their lives.
O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up. —Daniel 3:16-18 (NKJV)
Somehow, they were so confident in the God whom they served that they were empowered to speak with divine boldness. Their lives were threatened and their beliefs were questioned, but they maintained an attitude of faith which invariably brought them a miraculous victory. Today, thousands of years later, we are still talking about their testimony.
What will your own story be? You might be faced with a situation today that is threatening your life, your beliefs, your job, or your marriage. You must remember that no matter what you face, an attitude of faith is the key to coming out of that issue triumphantly.
I encourage you to be bold and confident at all times. Know very well that no matter what happens, you will emerge a victor in the long run as long as you keep your gaze on the Master. Praise God!

Confession for the day
Faith is at work in me; therefore, I refuse to cower in the face of adversity or stagger at the promises of God. I know who I am, whose I am, and what I have. No matter what I face or go through, I am walking in victory in the name of Jesus. Amen!
