“….And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah…” II Chronicles 20:3 (NKJV)

Do you want to always get results when you pray? Do you want your prayers to move mountains? If your answer is yes, then you must have an aim when you pray. In other words, you should have a target when you pray.

A major mistake, I have seen many of God’s people make in prayer is praying without a target. They pray quite alright but their aim is unspecific. And as long as their prayers are not directed at a particular thing, they won’t get results.

So as you journey in your walk with God, I encourage you to pray with a target in mind. For example, if you want to pray concerning your business, set aside a number of days when that’s all you would pray about. When you do this diligently, you will surely get answers to your prayers because you are being specific. When Jehoshaphat set himself to pray and fast, his target was to get help from the Lord, and that was what he got at the end of the day. Therefore, pray with an aim in mind. Remember,”… the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]…” James 5:16 (AMPC)

Today’s Rhema

When you pray with an aim in mind, you will surely see your prayers produce results!

Confession for the Day

Thank you my Father and my maker for this wonderful counsel. I choose this day to stop praying aimlessly. Rather, I will pray with a clear aim in mind, and as I do, my prayers shall bear the desired fruits in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
