“He saw the slavery of the Israelites and was concerned for them.” —Exodus 2:25 (GNB)
Beloved, sometimes the devil tries to make you believe that God doesn’t care about you because of the difficult situations you face. But here is the truth: no matter what you go through or experience, God is concerned about you and loves to help you. The real challenge is, do you believe this? Are you truly convinced that God cares about you and is willing to step in?
I have observed that many people don’t truly believe God is concerned about them. They use their experiences to rate God’s care for them, failing to separate their life situations from His unwavering love. They simply feel that if God truly loved them, they shouldn’t have to go through certain trials. But it doesn’t work that way.
You must come to a place of certainty where you understand that going through difficulties in life does not change God’s position or stance toward you. He still loves you; you must believe this. In fact, you need to understand that challenges in life do not reflect the absence of God’s presence; rather, they often reflect the strategies of God for your next level!
You might ask, “How can you be so sure of all this?” I am sure because my Bible tells me so. When you study the Scriptures very closely, you will realize that many people in the Bible were in trouble, yet God was still with them. Joseph is a perfect example of this. The Bible records that though he was a slave in his master’s house, God was with him (Genesis 39:2). Later, when he was in prison, God was not only with him but also gave him favor right there in the prison (Genesis 39:21).
Did you see that? Joseph’s situation did not stop God from being with him and favoring him. God was with him all the way and strategically brought Joseph to the palace, where he became the second in command. My point is, it doesn’t matter what you are going through; always remember that God is concerned about you and He is with you. It was this deep concern that led Him to send Jesus Christ to pay the ultimate price for you and give you an abundant life. So rejoice and trust in His love for you because He truly cares. Hallelujah!
