“…for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 GNT)

Having prayed for a long time without getting answers to prayers, many people come to the conclusion that God does not answer prayers or that prayers don’t work. The question is, is that really true? Well, the answer is a big NO. The fact that you prayed and did not get the answer to your prayers does not mean that God does not answer prayers.

You must come to that place in your life where you understand that God answers prayers anytime, any day. If you do not settle this in your heart, the devil will continue to lie to you and dissuade you from praying. Many believers today have stopped praying because the devil has made them come to this conclusion but this shouldn’t be your case.

As a believer, you must come to that place where you are fully convinced that God answers prayers. You might say, but why are you so convinced about this? The reason is because the Bible says so. As a believer, whatever the Bible says regarding any matter should be taken seriously because that is God’s word to you.

In our opening text, the Bible says “…for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 GNT). Did you see that? Now, if the Bible already says, the ears of God are open to listen to the prayers of the righteous, why should you give up on prayers?

Your responsibility is to hold on strongly to this word and pray like never before because God indeed answers prayers. I admonish you today to never relent in praying. If you can be consistent in this area, you will surely see the answers to your prayer. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

As long as you are willing to pray passionately and consistently, God is always available to answer your prayers!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for giving me an in-depth understanding of prayer. I choose this day to pray passionately and consistently. I declare that as I do this, I am walking in the blessings of prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen!
