“….He is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…”
One of the things the enemy tries to do to us in times of crisis, is to make us believe that God cannot bring us out of the situation we have found ourselves in. He amplifies these situations in our mind to the point where we begin to think that our situation is too complicated to handle. But the truth remains that no matter how complicated your situation may be, it is not beyond change. You may think that your situation is too big to handle, but it is not bigger than God. God is still able to change anything at any time, the only question is, can you believe in Him for the change that you desire? The challenge is not with God but with us. Most times, we fail in our capacity to believe.
Once a man met our Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of his son who was oppressed by demons, and said, if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us…” Mark 9:23 (NKJV). Did you see that? He wasn’t sure if there was anything our Lord Jesus Christ could do on the matter. This is how many believers are in their lives today. They speak like this man and in the end, they do not get any answers because the problem is not with Jesus but with us. Our beliefs are faulty. Yes we believe in God, but do we really believe He can help us? This is where the issue lies, and this is why our Lord Jesus Christ responded to the man saying, “….if you can believe. All things are possible to him who believes….” Mark 9:23 (NKJV). So, the main question here is not if God can do it but if you can believe Him to do it.
Therefore, I encourage you to settle this truth in your heart that God can do it and will do it, if you are able to believe Him for it. Reject doubt and unbelief in all its forms and embrace faith in God, knowing very well that God can do all things. Praise God!
