Hands together in praying to God along with the holy bible book

“…now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

When people hear that God has made peace with them through the finished work of Jesus Christ our Lord, they find it difficult to believe it, because somehow they feel that they have done too many bad things that will prevent God from accepting them. But you see, no matter the evil you have committed, you must understand that God does not use that to judge you. He knew you were capable of doing some many of those ugly things, that is why, He had to send our Lord Jesus Christ to pay the ultimate price for sins. Now that our Lord Jesus Christ has done the needful before, God is no longer looking at the wrong you have done, instead He is looking at the sacrifice of His dear son and what you can become through the provisions of the finished work of our Lord Jesus. Your responsibility now, is not to focus on the wrongs you have done but to focus on the work of Jesus Christ. If you can accept what He has done for you and choose to align with the provisions of His sacrifice and just love God genuinely, you will not continue in error. Unfortunately, that is not the case today, many of God’s people have come to believe that God is angry with them. They feel condemned, rejected and unaccepted but all these feelings are just a lie from the pit of hell. God loves you regardless of your shortcomings.

The Bible says, “…who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? …for I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord..” Romans 8:35, 38 (NKJV). Did you see that? That’s how much you are loved by God. But the question is, will you believe God and trust in His love for you? Will you stop being conscious of the wrong things and start getting conscious of his love? Well, I want to encourage you today to embrace God’s love for you. He loved you so much and He sent His son Jesus to come take your place. Now you are his beloved, draw closer to Him and watch your life move from glory to glory. You might say, so what happens to my lifestyle? Embrace Jesus first, and He will take care of your lifestyle, He has the experience and the power to do that. Now, is this a license to live in sin? That’s not the idea behind this article, the idea is, make peace with God because He has already made peace with you. When you do, every other thing regarding your life begins to fall in place. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

God already made peace with you, therefore accept and embrace His love, it’s all you need!
