“…Where no wise guidance is, the people falleth: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety…” Proverbs 11:14 (ERV)
Are you in a situation right now where you feel like you are breaking under the pressure? Have you reached a point where you feel you can no longer continue? Well, worry no more, because I have good news for you. No matter what you are facing or going through right now, I want you to know that there is a way out, but you have to make a conscious decision to seek counsel. Now, when we talk about counsel, it’s important to understand that there is a right counsel and a wrong counsel. To get the right counsel, it is always encouraged that you go to your pastor or spiritual leader for counsel. Why a spiritual leader, you might ask? Well, the reason is that most of the challenges that we go through in life have their roots in the realms of the spirit. Through spiritual counsel, you are able to know exactly what is going on in your life and how to handle that situation.
Sometimes, the things we go through are not big issues, but because the enemy has amplified them in our eyes and minds, we see them as though we will never come out of them. We have come to the conclusion that our situation is without a solution. However, I am writing this article to let you know that there are no situations without a solution, all we need is the right counsel. So, I encourage you today, whatever you are going through in your life right now, do not keep quiet or keep it to yourself. Instead, go for counsel. The Bible in our opening text says, “…Where no wise guidance is, the people falleth: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety…” Proverbs 11:14 (ERV) Did you see that? The Bible also says, in Proverbs 24:6 (ESV), that “…by wise guidance, you can wage your war, and in the abundance of counsellors there is victory…”. Again in Proverbs 20:18, the Bible says, “…plans are established by counsel; by wise guidance, wage war…”. From this, you discover that there is something about going for counsel. So, take advantage of this truth and use it to transform your life. Praise God!
