How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?… —Romans 10:14-15 (NKJV)

Beloved, since you became a Christian, has anyone come to Christ because of you? Has anyone received salvation because of your efforts? This question might sound direct, but it is a reality we must face. Before we became Christians, someone, somewhere, made an effort that made it possible for us to encounter Christ.

Now, for others to encounter Christ, our efforts are needed. If you never make an effort in this area, you will not be involved in the salvation stories of other people. You must understand that the salvation God brought us through Jesus Christ is meant to have a ripple effect; it is designed to go from one person to another.

When salvation comes to you, you must ensure it goes to another because of you. If it stops with you, it is dangerous, as it shows a lack of gratitude and understanding. But when you take it to someone else, you give that person the chance to be blessed, and you end up doing God’s will and being blessed in the process.

Therefore, make a conscious decision to be involved in someone’s salvation. If you feel you are not bold enough, pray to God about it, and He will give you boldness. God will also begin to bring you opportunities to be a witness to others. Become interested in helping people discover the gift of salvation.

When you do, your life will not remain the same. For it is written, “Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3, NKJV).

Today’s Rhema

When you are involved in the salvation of others, your light shines brighter and brighter!

Confession for the Day

Thank you, Father, for reminding me of the need to be involved in the salvation stories of others. I receive the grace, wisdom, and opportunities to turn many to righteousness. As I do this, many are embracing the knowledge of the truth, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
