“The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, ‘Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees, and my instructions.’” — Genesis 26:2-5 (GNT)
As you journey in your walk with God, one crucial thing you must fight to do is to know His will for your life and walk in that path. As simple as this might sound, it holds the key to shaping the outcome of your life.
Over the years, many of God’s children have found themselves struggling and battling with various issues because they didn’t take the time to discover God’s will for their lives. Some are stuck in jobs they have no business being in or facing challenges they could have avoided had they sought God’s guidance from the start.
However, your story can be different. Isaac, during a time of famine, was about to leave his city for another, but God appeared to him, revealing His will. When Isaac obeyed and stayed where God directed him, he prospered immensely—becoming very wealthy (Genesis 26:12-13). Beloved, if you make it your priority to seek and follow God’s will for your life, your journey will be filled with blessings, peace, and fulfillment. You will walk through life enjoying every moment, knowing you’re exactly where God wants you to be. Hallelujah!
