“…now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him…” Hebrews 10:38 (NKJV)

In times of challenges one of the most common responses you get from many of God’s people is tears. They get emotional and start crying, but that does not work in this kingdom. What works is faith. Crying doesn’t change anything or improve the situation. Rather, it makes you slip into self-pity and depression, which leads you nowhere. So the best option would be to respond in faith because faith the Bible says is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4). When you respond in faith, even though the matter might seem tough in the beginning, it will surely cave. You will always produce results if you choose to stand in faith.

“Is it compulsory to respond in faith?”, you might ask. “Is there no other way out?” I asked similar questions as a young Christian, but when I grew in the Word of God, I realized the importance of faith.

Beloved, you‘ve got to understand that the importance of faith in the Kingdom is non-negotiable. Firstly, without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Secondly, faith is a law (Romans 3:27) in the kingdom and without it, it is impossible to access those things which are freely given to us in Christ Jesus. This might all sound ambiguous to you, so I’ll break it down.

When Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for us, grace was released and all things were made available to us spiritually as the Bible says, God has “blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV). In order to access these blessings and convert them into physical reality, it has to be by faith. Faith is what is required to connect to grace and access its provisions.

So faith is not an option. Whatever you are going through, refuse to panic or respond in fear, rather, respond in faith, it is your ticket to victory. When you respond in faith, there is no fear, no doubt and no defeat. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Faith is your ticket to victory in any challenge!

Confession for the Day

My faith is alive and active, therefore I refuse to cower in the face of adversity but respond in faith. I refused to be intimidated or oppressed because victory for me is already settled in Christ Jesus. Praise God!
