Endure Like Our Lord Jesus (1)

“…may the Lord lead you into a greater understanding of God’s love and the endurance that is given by Christ…”  2 Thessalonians 3:5 (GNT)

One important lesson we learn from the life of Jesus Christ is His endurance. In all He went through, the Bible recorded that He endure. He was “…despised and rejected by men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief…He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him…He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep, before its shearers are silent, he opened not His mouth…” (Isaiah 53:3, 5, 7) Why? Because He understood that this was His assignment, and He needed to see it through to victory. He endured, and in the end, He was given the Name above every other name (Philippians 2:9). It wasn’t easy for our Lord Jesus Christ, but His endurance paid off and today He is seated in heavenly places at the right hand of God the Father.

Are you going through some circumstances now that make you feel like quitting or giving up? Endure it through because when you are done, you will come out victoriously. Sometimes, when we take a look at the confrontations before us, it looks as though we will never come out. But if we will endure as Jesus did, we will surely emerge victoriously.

So I admonish you today to endure whatever you are going through right now, knowing full well that at the end of it all, you will certainly win and claim the blessings that follow after going through such situations. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

If you will endure as our Lord Jesus Christ did, you will surely prevail!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful counsel, I receive grace to endure and prevail in whatever I am going through. I refuse to cower in the face of adversity; I refuse to give in or give up, instead, I choose to endure and confront that situation until I win in Jesus name. Amen!
