“…may the Lord lead you into a greater understanding of God’s love and the endurance that is given by Christ…” 2 Thessalonians 3:5 (GNT)
One of the things the enemy has used to defeat many believers in times of challenge is that they do not endure, instead, all they do is complain, cry and give. But this is not how God wants us to respond to our situations. God wants us to endure whatever pressure we are going through and press towards victory. Beloved, if you do this, you will be amazed at how quickly you will come out victoriously. So, as you carry on your Christian Walk, learn to endure like our Lord Jesus did. Remember, He faced the kind of situation that was enough for Him to give up but he endured it and prevailed. You too should do the same so that you can prevail and have wonderful testimonies.
In our previous articles, I have explained to us that every challenge comes for your promotion but if this promotion must manifest, you have to endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). I know most of us would wish the challenge did not come up at all but the truth remains that life without challenges is life without promotion. I know that this might sound funny but that is the truth. If you truly want to make reasonable progress in your life, embrace that challenge and put your faith to work. Refuse to grumble or complain, as you might be tempted to do that sometimes, but endure it through and you will watch your life move from glory to glory. Remember, the “small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory much greater than the trouble…” 2 Corinthians 4:17 (GNT). No wonder James the servant of God admonishes us in the Bible saying, “…my friends, consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing…” James 1;2-5 (GNT)
Today’s Rhema
A life without challenges is a life without promotion, but challenges often give way to promotion.
Confession for the Day
No matter what I face, experience or go through, I choose to endure and emerge a winner because I was not meant to quit but to fight and win. Therefore, I declare, in all these things I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me. Praise God!
