“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” — Psalms 139:14 (NKJV)

Having established in the first part of this article the importance of embracing and appreciating who you are and the way God has made you, it’s crucial to take this subject very seriously. Over the years, I’ve seen people who fought so hard to look like others, and in the process, they lost sight of who they are and the numerous blessings God has given them as individuals. This should never be the case.

Beloved, if you are going to unlock the treasures that God has hidden in you, you must understand that you have been created with unique features that only you possess in the entire universe. No matter how you see it, there is no one else like you. You are the only you that exists and will ever exist. Some people may not like this truth, but it remains the truth nonetheless.

There is nobody in this world who looks exactly the way you do or has the specific features that God created you with. So, don’t waste your time trying to be someone else or copying someone else’s appearance. No matter how hard you try, you won’t become them; instead, you may end up disfiguring the beauty that God has given you.

So, what should you do? Celebrate your features, your appearance, and your build, knowing that God didn’t make a mistake when He created you. He made you the way you are because you are unique and special. This was the understanding the Psalmist had when he said, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalms 139:14 (NKJV). He recognized the uniqueness God had given him, and he praised God for it.

From now on, begin to see the good that God has created in you. Start viewing yourself in a positive light so that others can see you that way too. Develop confidence in your appearance, and believe me, your life will not remain the same.

Today’s Rhema

No matter how you see it, there is only one you. You are unique!

Confession for the Day

Father, I praise Your holy name because You have created me in Your image. I have been fearfully and wonderfully made, and I am proud of it. I am the only me that exists and will ever exist. Therefore, I go out today and show forth the beauty You have placed in me. I am most grateful, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
