…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. —Luke 4:4 (NKJV)
In this world, we live in a physical dimension where what we see, feel, and perceive often becomes our reality. However, as a child of God, if you only go by what you see in the physical realm, you might never truly relate with God or lay hold of His blessings. You must move beyond this physical realm and learn to live in the realm of God’s Word, which is the true reality for us as Christians.
The realm of the world exposes us to our limitations, weaknesses, and imperfections. In contrast, the realm of God’s Word exposes us to His power, grace, and the perfection He has made available to us in Christ Jesus. When you live in this higher realm, you will be able to subdue the physical one.
In the recent past, many of God’s people have ended up as victims, defeated and knocked down in life. This happens because all they know is the reality of this world, and that reality often makes you want to quit. You must understand that there is a greater reality, one that can swallow up the reality of this world. This is the reality you must embrace to live a successful Christian life.
Refuse to be limited by this physical realm; start living in the realm of God’s Word, for that is where real life is. For example, when a man is afflicted with a dreaded disease, the only thing that comes to mind is often death, because the medical abilities of this realm are limited. But if that same man would tune his spirit to the realities of God’s Word, he would soon begin to find new hope for the future.
In God’s Word, there is healing and divine health. Through it, he would not only receive his healing but also be made whole. The realm of God’s Word is a realm of possibilities and victory. If you live there, victory belongs to you, and nothing shall be impossible.
So what are you waiting for? Switch to the realm of God’s Word and live there. Be like Abraham, who, against hope, believed in hope. He knew he and his wife, Sarah, were too old to have a child, but he chose to move beyond that reality and dwell in the promises of God.
The Bible records that “he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God…” (Romans 4:20, NKJV). Why? Because he chose to live in the realm of God’s Word.
Today’s Rhema
The realm of this world is a realm of calamities and catastrophe, but the realm of God’s Word is a realm of possibilities, victory, and miracles!
Confession for the Day
Your Word, O God, is life, and I choose to live in the realm of Your Word—the realm where all things are possible. I refuse to be limited by any other reality. As I do this, I grow in the realm of God’s Word and live in the realities of the supernatural, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
