One of the most common things you find among many people today is that they keep running away from God’s call. They know that God wants to use them; they know that God wants to send them to meet a need somewhere, but they don’t want to answer the call. So they keep running away, and sometimes they even go as far as saying, “It is too much responsibility, I can’t handle it”. Well, if you are reading this article today and God has ministered to you in some way to let you know that He wants to use you, do not ignore the call anymore. Because your future lies in that call. You must never forget that you are not your own creation. You are God’s creation, and when He created you, He did that so that you could come to the world to fulfill a purpose. If you do not yield yourself to God, you are indirectly running away from the same purpose for which you were created. And that means living a life without a purpose.
So, it is important to take God’s call very seriously because His calling in your life is not for His interest but for your own. It is you who have the chance to gain, not God. If you do not answer the call, there are many people out there who are praying daily for God to use them, and God can decide to use them instead of you. So it is important that you think about these things and make a conscious decision to answer God’s call. I know it might seem like a daunting task, but trust me, when you say yes to that call, God gives you the grace to carry out that responsibility gracefully. And in the long run, you are the one who gets blessed. The question is, What has God been calling you to do? Wait no longer and answer the call at the earliest possible time. Interestingly, when you do this, you are the one who also gets to enjoy all the blessings that come with answering the call of God. Therefore, answer the call today and watch your life move from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
