“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained a brother…” Matthew 18:15

As a Christian, do you know that you are not allowed to hold an offence against your Christian brother or sister? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. Our Lord Jesus Christ specifically told us in our opening text that if a brother sins against you, do not keep it to yourself. Instead, try to reach out to him and politely let him know his fault. Keeping it to yourself and harboring resentment would make you end up in sin and cause you to stumble.

The question is, who has offended you lately? Who do you need to speak to? Think about this very deeply, so you can do the needful. The reason this message is coming to you at this time is because God wants you to take action and clear the air. I understand that sometimes, the hurts can be so much but trust me, Christian maturity is when you can take these steps to let people know what they did and let it off your heart. So, be wise and do what needs to be done. Remember, the Bible says “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained a brother…” Matthew 18:15

Today’s Rhema

Instead of holding an offence against a brother or sister in Christ, let them know what they have done and let it go!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this eye-opening message, I receive grace today to let go of offenses and as I do this, my capacity to love is increasing in the name of Jesus. Amen!
