“…for by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned…” Matthew 12:37 (NIV)

One of the challenges that many believers face today is that when they face difficult situations, they keep quiet and say nothing. When they try to speak about the situation that they are going through, they complain about it which ultimately does not change anything, so they remain in that situation for a long time. Why? Because they have failed to speak words that will bring about a turn around. Beloved, if you truly want to see a turnaround in your situation, there are two things you must not do. First, you must not complain because it doesn’t change anything and secondly, you must not be silent about the situation. Rather, what you should do, is to speak to the situation. Take note of what I said here, I didn’t say you have to speak about the situation, I said you have to speak to the situation. Why? You might ask? Well, it is simple!

Speaking about your situation only makes things worse, but when you speak to the situation and declare what you want to see in that situation, you will certainly make things happen. When our Lord Jesus Christ was admonishing His disciples, He said something very remarkable which I would like to bring to your attention. He said “…assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says…”Mark 11:23 (NKJV). Did you see that? He said whoever says to the mountain and not whoever speaks about the mountain. So, as you journey in your Christian walk, do not be silent when you face difficult situations. Instead speak to it and command a change. When you begin to do that, it might look like you are playing but trust me, change will manifest because the power of death and life are in your tongues.(Proverbs 18:21) Halleluiah!

Today’s Rhema

Speak about your situation and nothing will change, but dare to speak to the situation and change will manifest drastically!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful message today. I choose to speak to my situations and circumstances so that change can be established. I refuse to hold my peace but speak until there is a turnaround in Jesus name. Amen!
