“….So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God….”Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

Now that we have outlined the importance of developing your faith in God, we will be looking at how to do it because the challenge many of God’s people are facing today is that they know that they need to develop their faith but they don’t know how to get it done. So, we will be looking three key ways to develop faith.

First, you have become passionate about the word of God. You have to learn to study it, hear it preached and meditate on the realities of it. In our opening text the Bible says”….So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God….“Romans 10:17 (NKJV). Did you see that? This means that the more you expose yourself to the word of God, the more developed your faith becomes. Secondly, you have to learn to exercise your faith. You can’t claim to have faith in God, and when the time comes for you to put your faith to work, you chicken out. It shouldn’t be that way, you should be willing and ready to exercise your faith at all times.

Finally, learn to meditate on the faithfulness of God towards you. As long as you keep forgetting what God has done for you in the past, you can never believe Him enough for anything in the present. So, you must learn to meditate on the faithfulness of God towards you and thank Him for it. When you operate this way, I guarantee that your faith in God will soar high and deliver to you the results you desire at all times. Praise God!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Father, for educating me on how to develop my faith. I choose this day to follow your counsel and put it to work. I decree that as I do that, my faith is becoming stronger and producing the results I desire in the name of Jesus. Amen!
