“…for by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned…” Matthew 12:37 (NIV)

Most people do not know that our lips were not just given for food and speech. God has also created our lips to declare words that will bring us salvation in whatever situation we find ourselves. One of the best qualities of being able to speak is that we can use our lips to beautify our lives. Although it might sound strange, the truth remains that the outcome of our lives depends on what we actually say. So, you must learn to speak words that will transform your life. Sadly, a lot of Christians don’t say anything, especially when they need to say something about their situations. They keep complaining but never address the situation. However, as a Christian, it is important to know that the words that will save you are in your mouth; the words that would change your situations are words that you utter concerning the situation. If you do not speak words that would help you bring about a change, your life may just remain in one spot. This is why you find several situations lingering, because we have not decided to speak ourselves to the next level.

As Christians we cannot afford to keep quiet. We were created to speak and utter decrees. The power that you need for change is contained in your declarations. That’s why the Bible says, “where the word of a King is, there is power: and who may say unto him, what are you doing?” Ecclesiastes 8:4 (NKJV). Isn’t it amazing that our words have power? So, here’s my advice: Don’t be quiet; stop waiting for power to come down from heaven to change that situation for the power is in your mouth. Say what you ought to say, confess the words you need to confess, and offer the prayer you ought to offer. We believe with our heart, but with our mouth, we speak out words of salvation, we speak out prophecies, we speak to our situations, and we see our changes. Amen!

Today’s Rhema

Speak out and let the world know that you are in charge of your life.

Confession for the Day

Thank you Holy Father, for giving me the solution to my life and for giving me the ability to make decrees. I declare that my words are powerful, and I will create my world and change my future with the words of God on my lips in Jesus name. Amen
