“…and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose…” —Romans 8:28

One of the things you must understand as a believer is that you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God (Hebrews 12:22). Now, the implication of this is that there is a way to talk in this kingdom. You must become conscious of the way we talk in this kingdom so that you can start talking rightly. Understand this, if you are truly in this kingdom, things ought to work out by default because the kingdom does not function according to the world’s principles or standards. It is a heavenly kingdom with eternal realities. There is provision for everyone in the kingdom. Recognize it and align your mouth with it. I strongly believe that the reason things are not working out for some people is because they are not living in the reality of this and, more importantly, they are using their mouths to incapacitate things in their lives.

You’ve got to understand that, whenever you open your mouth to speak, you are either fulfilling scriptures positively or negatively. The Bible clearly states that life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Whenever you say things are not working out, you are speaking death. So the real reason things are not working out is not because God is not faithful, but because your mouth is going in the wrong direction. So begin today to restrain your mouth from saying the wrong things and renew your mind about the kingdom you belong to. Stop looking for people to take pity on you; it will not change anything. Whatever you face or go through, the Bible says, “…all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose…” Romans 8:28. Therefore, live in the consciousness of this truth and align your mouth with the realities of our kingdom.

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for opening my eyes to this truth. I declare that henceforth, my manner of speaking has changed. I will no longer speak the wrong words but the right ones. I will always speak life over everything that concerns me and I know that as I do so, my life moves from glory to glory. Praise God!
