“…and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose…”—Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
In my years of pastoring, I have been privileged to meet a lot of people and one of the most common words in the mouths of people is “things are not working out in my life” or things have not been working out in my life in the past few years.” They make these confessions over and over again and they don’t see anything wrong with it. In fact for some people, they just love it when they make such confessions. They feel that somehow it makes people feel pity for them, but the question is, does God want us to speak like this? Certainly not.
As a believer in Christ Jesus, you must understand that such languages are not consistent with the constitution of the kingdom of God to which we belong. If you truly dwell in this Kingdom, you won’t have to speak like this because things will be working. In Isaiah 22:24, from the Amplified version the Bible clearly states that “…no inhabitant (of Zion) will say, I am sick…” because we live in a kingdom where things work out. Therefore, learn to say the right things concerning your life. Declare that the things you want to see are not what you are seeing. Refuse to allow what you see to form the confessions in your mouth. Instead, let the truth revealed to us in the Bible form the confessions of your mouth. If you can live your life like this, you will be amazed at the way things turn around for your benefit. Praise. God!

No matter what you face or go through, refuse to let your situation form your confession!
Confession for the Day
Thank you, my Lord and my God for the wonderful revelation you have brought to me today. I choose this day to declare that all things are working for me and I refuse to speak negative words concerning my life. I declare that as I begin to make positive confessions, every area of my life is turning around for the better in the name of Jesus. Amen!
