“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV)

There are some who believe that to receive anything from God, they must beg persistently, often spending days pleading with Him to act. Unfortunately, this mindset leads to frustration, as begging is not the biblical approach. Instead of begging, God desires His children to claim boldly what has already been made available to them in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, understand this: God does not want you to approach Him as a beggar. He is your loving Father, and you are His child—His responsibility. Just as your earthly father provides for your basic needs without you having to beg, your Heavenly Father has already made provision for everything you need. These blessings are your birthright in Christ. All that is required is for you to ask with boldness and confidence, not with desperation or fear.

The Bible declares, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV). Did you see that? God invites you to approach His throne with boldness, not trepidation. This means you can confidently access His mercy and grace at any time, knowing that He is ready and willing to help you.

So, refuse to let the enemy fill your mind with doubts that suggest you need to beg God for His blessings. That is not scriptural. Instead, ask with confidence, fully trusting in His Word. However, boldness does not mean arrogance. It doesn’t give you license to approach God with demands or ultimatums, as some misguidedly do. Boldness in this context speaks of confidence rooted in faith, not pride or irreverence.

Approach God as a loving Father, knowing that He delights in meeting your needs. When you do, you’ll find mercy and grace sufficient for every circumstance. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

According to the scriptures, you are not to beg but to ask with boldness!

Confession for the Day

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the understanding Your Word has brought to me today. I choose to always approach the throne of grace with boldness, confident in Your love and faithfulness. As I do, I receive mercy and grace for every situation, and I walk in victory all my days, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
