Are you in a situation that threatens your peace and safety? Do you find yourself in vulnerable circumstances? Well, do not fret, I have good news for you. Whatever you are going through, know that you are safe because Jesus Christ is our refuge and fortress.
It true that the situations you are facing may be putting pressure on you, but you have to make up your mind not to give in because our Lord Jesus Christ is your fortress and this means that no matter what you face, victory is sure. At first it may not look like you will come out of that situation victoriously, but trust me, as long as you hold on to the Lord and His provisions for you through His finished work, you will certainly overcome.
I encourage you to see Jesus as your fortress and be comforted by the fact that you are not alone. The Psalmist understood this truth and that was what propelled him to say, “…the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold….” Psalms 18:2 (NKJV). You too can say the same and stand on it and I guarantee that you will walk out of that situation with mega testimonies. Hallelujah!

Glorious and ever living Father, I thank you for your mercy. Thank you for helping me understand that you are my fortress. So, today I choose to cling on to you and I refuse to be afraid because I know that you are my refuge and my fortress and no harm can prevail over me. Praise God!
