Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12 NKJV)

What will people remember you for when you’re gone? What legacy will you leave behind? These are questions worth reflecting on as we consider the impact of our lives. Many people live without purpose, yet they cling to life without making a meaningful contribution. Will you be like those who come and go, leaving no lasting imprint? Or will your life inspire others, like the biblical figures we celebrate today?

Consider Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt and through the Red Sea on dry ground. Think of Joseph, who rose from slavery to become a prime minister, saving Egypt from famine. Remember Elijah, who called down fire from heaven and stopped the rain for three years. These men are remembered for their faith and their service to God. But what about you?

Many live wasted lives, yet they cling to life without purpose. Don’t be like smoke from a fire—here one moment and gone the next, leaving no trace. Let your life count. Touch lives, change lives, and leave a lasting imprint in your world or sphere of influence. As Christians, our lives should matter. There should be a reason for your existence, a purpose for God keeping you here. You can’t expect to live a life of insignificance and still thrive.

You can share the gospel, open the eyes of the blind, and set captives free. If you can’t preach, you can support the work of the gospel by contributing your resources or joining outreach programs to help the poor. The choice is yours. Start now, because time is ticking. The most important thing is to be an addition to the kingdom. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Touch lives, change lives, and leave a lasting imprint in your world or sphere of influence!

Confession for the Day

Father, I ask You to establish the work of my hands and help me make a lasting impact in my lifetime. Direct my heart to what You want me to do and whom You want me to touch, so I won’t be like vapor that disappears, leaving no trace. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
