“…as a man thinks in His heart so is he…” —Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)

Do you know that all some people do every day is sit down and think about all the negative things that are happening to them? Yes, that is what most people do. They seldom sit back and count their blessings; all they do is count their losses. In most cases, you’d hear them say things like “…I don’t know why God has allowed me to go through this in my life…” They speak as though God has done nothing at all, so they end up dwelling on the wrong thoughts, which only leads them down the road of depression. Beloved, this is not the kind of life God wants you to live.

The human thought process was given to us to help us achieve great things in life instead of dwelling on the wrong things. A lot of people have lost their lives because they maintained a negative way of thinking. They have dwelt so much on this pattern of thinking that the only things that happen around them are negative things. Their negative thoughts now attract only negative encounters and when you stay long enough with them, you contact this air of negativity because that’s all you get around them. However, I am writing to you today so that you can make up your mind to be different. Make a decision to purposely think the right thoughts. My advice to you is that you spend your time thinking about the things God has done for you. Acknowledge the works of God in your life and not the works of the devil. Believe me, it is the best thing that can happen to you. The moment you begin to channel your thoughts to the things God is doing and dwell on them, you create an atmosphere of possibilities. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Channeling your thoughts toward the negativity around you is wasting your thoughts and your time!

Confession for the Day

My Lord and My God, I am grateful for this wonderful truth you have communicated to me today, and I declare that my focus will henceforth be on the things you are doing and not what the devil is doing. I choose to put my thoughts to good use, and as I do, I create an atmosphere of possibilities in the name of Jesus. Amen!
