“…so come on, let’s leave the preschool finger-painting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ…” Hebrews 6:1 (MSG)

Beloved, there is no telling the transformation that goes on within you when you go through difficulties. It is a refining period that brings out the best in you. If handled with the right attitude, it molds you and brings you to a place of spiritual maturity. No wonder the Bible says, “…count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing….” James 1:2-4 (NKJV). Did you see that? It says to count it all joy, why? Your challenges are only a test of your faith which produces patience and patience produces character, which is also part of the spiritual maturity that we have been talking about.

So I encourage you today to embrace challenges and welcome them. Don’t run away from it or complain about it. Every challenge is another opportunity for you to manifest your spiritual maturity and prevail. It is another opportunity to get tougher in your Christian walk and be the champion God has called you to be. It is another opportunity to prove that God’s word works. So cheer up and embrace the challenges that have come to confront you because, in the long run, they make you better and prepared for the future ahead. Refuse to entertain any form of fear because no matter what you face or go through, you will always come out victoriously. Remember, the Bible says, “…many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all…” Psalms 34:19. Meaning that God has got you covered, just do your part but trust Him. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Every challenge is another opportunity for you to manifest your spiritual maturity and prevail!

Confession for the Day

No matter what I face or experience, I refuse to cower in the face of adversity, I refuse to develop cold feet. Rather, I choose to face the confrontations and prove the mighty working of God’s word in my life and prevail in all things in the name of Jesus. Amen!
