“…so come on, let’s leave the preschool finger-painting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ…” Hebrews 6:1 (MSG)
Beloved, do you know that challenges come to make you spiritually mature? Do you know that challenges are designed to develop you into that believer God wants you to be? Well, in case you are not aware, I am telling you now. I know that this is not what some people want to hear, but trust me, this is the reality you must embrace. Gone are the days when you would want people to pamper you and make you believe that as a believer, you are not supposed to go through difficulties. All that was not completely true, unfortunately, it has made many believers handle their circumstances wrongly. However, I want you to understand that as a believer, you will surely go through difficulties, it is part of our Christian Walk.
Beloved, if there is one thing you need to embrace as a Christian is the challenges of life because they make you stronger and spiritually mature. I know that these challenges sometimes might not be the best of experiences, but the truth is that we need it to grow spiritually, mature in our thinking and be the man or woman that God wants us to be. Running away from these challenges is like running away from the very thing God has set aside to develop you. Therefore, the next time you face a challenge in your life, don’t grumble about it, but embrace it because you need it. It is in times of challenges people learn how to fast and pray, and exercise their faith and their authority in Christ Jesus. And above all learn to trust in the Lord in difficult times. Therefore, embrace that situation with faith and handle it like a good soldier of Christ. Hallelujah!
Today’s Rhema
When you run away from situations, you are running away from God’s plan for your development!
Confession for the Day
Today, my eyes are open and my mind has been flooded with light. I choose therefore to embrace the situations of life with faith, boldness and courage and as I do this, I decree that I am winning and coming out victoriously in Jesus name. Amen!
