“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made…” — John 1:1-3 (NKJV)
One of the most strategic attacks the devil has launched against believers today is convincing them to underestimate the power of God’s Word. Many no longer prioritize the Word. Instead, they treat it as a secondary matter, something to glance at occasionally, while they give their time and attention to other pursuits. This negligence is not accidental. The enemy understands just how potent the Word of God is—he knows that it can transform a believer into a spiritual force and a threat to his agenda.
When a Christian becomes detached from the Word, the devil gains room to influence that person’s thoughts, choices, and outcomes. But when a believer gives full attention to the Word of God, something powerful happens: strength is built from within, and life begins to align with divine order.
If you want to live a life that is rooted, victorious, and full of impact, you must be intentional about building your life with the Word. The Scriptures make it abundantly clear: “…In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made…” — John 1:1-3 (NKJV).
This isn’t poetic symbolism; it’s a revelation of divine reality. Everything visible today—whether material, spiritual, or relational—was created by the Word. Nothing came into existence apart from it. That means no real, lasting progress can be made in life without the Word of God. If you neglect it, you cut yourself off from the very substance that gives birth to lasting transformation.
So refuse to treat the Word lightly. Let it be your foundation, your compass, your blueprint. Engage with it daily, meditate on it, confess it, and act on it. When you build with the Word, you are building with power, wisdom, and eternal substance.
Today’s Rhema
