“…according to all that I show you, that is the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it….” Exodus 25:9 ( NKJV)
As you journey in your walk with God, do you realize that God wants you to build according to the pattern He has shown to us in the scriptures? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. God does not want us to just adopt anything we find in this world.
Beloved, there is a pattern that God wants you to use in building your life, there are principles He wants you to adopt so that you can get a different result from what the world gets. Unfortunately, many of God’s people do not stick to this truth. Instead, they are busy copying all that they see in the world. They try to build their lives, marriages, careers, and businesses on worldly principles when they are supposed to be building with godly principles. Unfortunately, this negligence has brought untold frustrations into their lives. However, to avoid this, we must make a conscious decision to build according to the pattern of God’s Word.
When God wanted Moses and the Israelites to build a tent for Him, God gave them specific directions to follow; and He said “build according to the pattern that I show you” (Exodus 25:9). In Exodus 25:40, God had to repeat the instructions saying, “…see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain…”
So, I admonish you today, as you walk with God, ensure to build according to the pattern shown to you in the scriptures. Avoid the world’s ways of doing things and adopt the ways of the scriptures. Remember the ways of the scripture are the way of the Spirit.

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for the pattern you have shown to us in your word. Today I receive grace to build accordingly and as I do, I walk in the blessings in the name of Jesus. Amen!
