Believe in the Gospel and Its Provisions (2)

“…for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes…” – Romans 1:12 (NKJV)

Having established the importance of taking the Gospel seriously in the first part of the article, you must understand that if you truly want to see the power of God manifest in all you do, you must develop a deeper interest in the Gospel and its message. There are no shortcuts to this. Many today, ignore the message of the Gospel and yet they want to walk in the blessings that the Gospel promises. You cannot separate the blessings of the Gospel from the Gospel. When you want the blessing of the Gospel and you are not willing to give attention to the Gospel, it’s like saying I want to drink the water inside a coconut pod but you don’t want to break the coconut. It won’t work. In the same way, if you want to see the blessings of the Gospel in action, you must embrace the Gospel, understand it, believe in and do what it says.

So I encourage you today to give attention to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Receiving Jesus Christ into your life is not enough. It is only the foundation stage but sadly that’s where many Christians stop. You must go beyond receiving Jesus into your life, to believing in His message and doing what He says. When you do this, you will unlock the power of God regularly in your life. His personality will bring you salvation but His message is what produces the everyday miracles in your life and positions you for greater victories in your life. Also, His message is what empowers you to be able to stand against the whirls of the devil and subdue it. Therefore, hang on to the Gospel, stake your life on it, because it is indeed the power of God unto salvation to all that believes. Praise God!

If you truly want to experience the power of God every day in your life and watch it manifest in everything you do, you have to embrace the full gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and believe in it!

Confession for the Day

Thank you heavenly father for helping me understand what the Gospel truly is, I chose to embrace the Gospel and give it all the attention that it deserves because now I understand the magnitude of what it can do in my life. I know that if it brought me salvation, it can bring me anything else in the name of Jesus. Amen!
