“…for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes…” – Romans 1:12 (NKJV)
For many years, I have watched many of God’s Children dance from one church to another looking for the power of God, unknown to them that what they are looking for is right under their noses. They believe that if they visit different churches they could encounter the power of God but the truth is, even if they do, it will be short lived. Whatever, they receive as a result of the encounter won’t stay for long because they do not know how the power of God works. So they keep wondering why things are not stable in their lives. However, if you truly want to experience the power of God every day in your life and watch it manifest in everything you do, you have to embrace the full Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and believe in it, because that is where the power lies. Apostle Paul in our opening text says, “…I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes…” – Romans 1:12 (NKJV). Meaning the power of God is locked up in the Gospel and its message, if you want to see it manifest, all you need to do is hold the Gospel in high esteem, believe in it and do what it says in different areas of your life and you will see the power of God move mightily in your life on a daily basis.
So I encourage you today to give attention to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Receiving Jesus Christ into your life is not enough. It is only the foundation stage but sadly that’s where many Christians stop. You must go beyond receiving Jesus into your life, and believing in His message and doing what He says. When you do this, you will unlock the power of God regularly in your life. His personality will bring your salvation but His message is what produces the everyday miracles in your life and positions you for greater victories in your life. Also, His message is what empowers you to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil and subdue them. Therefore, hang on to the Gospel, stake your life on it, because it is indeed the power of God unto salvation to all that believe. Praise God!

If you truly want to experience the power of God every day in your life and watch it manifest in everything you do, you have to embrace the full gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and believe in it!

Thank you Heavenly Father for helping me understand what the Gospel truly is. I choose to embrace the Gospel and give it all the attention that it deserves because now I understand the magnitude of what it can do in my life. I know that if it brought me salvation, it can bring me anything else in the name of Jesus. Amen!
