When you take a look around you today, you will find that there are so many ungodly influences out there, seeking to turn men away from God. The devil is doing everything possible to make sure that many are influenced in the wrong way. He has infiltrated the social media space and the print media too. Everywhere you turn to, he is there trying to influence people negatively. If we as believers do nothing, he will continue to prevail and drag the young and ignorant ones into terrible deception.
Therefore, as believers, we have a responsibility to be the Jesus – influence in our world. In other words, we have the responsibility to reveal Jesus and manifest His influence in our sphere of contact. According to the book of 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, we have been given the ministry of reconciling men back to God and to carry that ministry out, we must become a positive influence in our world. We must reveal Jesus in how we speak, dress and live our lives. We must reveal Jesus in the kind of content we share on social media and on our whatsapp status. Everything we do, must reveal Jesus so that anyone who comes in contact with us will be Influenced positively and be pointed to God and not away from God. Remember, the Bible admonishes that we should “….be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity….’‘I Timothy 4:12 (NKJV). This example should not just be to believers alone but non- believers as well. Praise God!

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for making me an influence in this world. I choose therefore, to be the Jesus influence in my world. I choose to reveal Jesus and His love in all that I do and to everyone I meet in the name of Jesus. Amen!
