“They shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.” —Zechariah 10:5 (NKJV).

Sometimes, when people look at the way we approach God, His Word, and His work, they ask, “Why can’t you use your life to do something better?” But the real question is, what could be better than our relationship with God? What else in this world is truly worth making sacrifices for?

Beloved, as a Christian, one thing you should be proud of in life is your relationship with God. You should be proud of the fact that God is on your side. With God on your side, there is no limit to what you can do, no limit to what you can achieve, and no limit to the fruit you can bear.

Maybe you are presently of the opinion that what I am saying is not true because you are a Christian and your experiences have not been good. But the truth is that a man’s experiences do not determine or define his relationship with God. God, in His divine power, has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, and there is no limit to what He has given us. When God says He has given us something, then He has. Even if we cannot physically see what He has given us, that does not deny its existence.

So, as a Christian, be excited about your relationship with God. It is the most precious gift God has given us, because He has given us Himself. We know that because we have God, we have everything, and there is nothing in life that we cannot achieve. The only way to truly enjoy the gift God has given us is to accept what He has given and live conscious of it.

Interestingly, when we do that, that consciousness begins to shape the way we respond to the situations around us, and we begin to see our lives take a new dimension. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Be conscious and excited about your relationship with God, because it is the best thing that has happened to you.

Prayer

Holy Father, blessed be Your holy name in all the earth. The kings of the earth and the nations of the world bow to Your majesty. I thank You for giving Yourself to me, giving me access to You, and giving me everything that You have. I choose to be conscious of all You have blessed me with in Christ Jesus, and I pledge to take advantage of them from today, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
