“…Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed….” Isaiah 53:4‭-‬5 (NKJV)

If you want to win in this world and overcome the challenges of this life as a believer, you must be conscious of the price Jesus paid for you through His finished work. The reason you have to be conscious of this is because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is your advantage in this world. Trust me the devil will do everything possible to try to frustrate your walk with God, but when you are conscious of the fact that Jesus paid the price for you, it propels you to keep pressing on and helps you to take the necessary actions needed to make constructive progress in your life.

Before our Lord Jesus Christ came, man had no advantage at all. The devil had free access to man’s  life because man was under the dominion and the manipulation of darkness. Man had no say, no choice and no way of defending himself when he was under an attack. Man was spiritually lost and there was nothing he could do to bring a desired change. Anything the devil did to man became the final say. But when our Lord Jesus Christ came and paid the ultimate price, all that changed. Today, we have a choice, a say and a way to defend ourselves because Jesus paid the price and became our advocate (1 John 2:1). Now, you have an advantage over the enemy but if this advantage must be activated to bring you victory, you must be conscious of the price that was paid for it. Let it proper you and put springs on your legs. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

As a believer you have an advantage over the enemy and that advantage is the price paid for you!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for the advantage you have given to me through the finished work of Jesus Christ. I choose to live in the consciousness of this reality now and all the days of my life and as I do, I walk in dominion in Jesus name. Amen!
