“….I say then; walk in the Spirit….if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit…” Galatians 5:16 (NKJV)

Having talked about the importance of being conscious of spiritual realities, you have to understand that this is the way out of any difficult situation, because it helps you know what to do, how to do it, and when to do what you ought to do. Refuse to be like those who become confused in times of difficulty. Time and again, I have seen God’s people get frustrated and blame God for their life’s struggles because they do not understand this truth I am sharing with you. They somehow think that God does not want to intervene in their lives. But they do not understand that God has already intervened by putting principles in place which we must follow in order to effect a change.

Beloved, if you are going to experience real change in your life, you must quit the blame game and distinguish yourself by taking advantage of the spiritual understanding that you have. The Bible tells us the story of King Jehoshaphat and how some kings came against him with a great army. At first, when he got the news, he went into panic mode, but then he decided to seek the Lord because he had an understanding that only God could fix this (1 Chronicle 20:1-30), and guess what? He got the victory. As a matter of fact, the Bible records in 1 Chronicles 20:30 that “the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around.” The question is, why did this happen? Well, it is simple! He had rest because he understood the spiritual and had a revelation of God’s role in his life. Therefore, I encourage you to become more spiritual in your dealings.

Now, remember, being spiritual is not being diabolical. Diabolism is the art of engaging the powers of darkness, but we are talking about the art of being conscious of God through His Word, and engaging His principles in the affairs of your life. When you operate like this, you won’t have to face what the masses face, because you operate by a different set of rules. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Being spiritual is not the same as being diabolical, spirituality is recognizing God’s role and engaging yourself in His principles!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Heavenly Father, for revealing to me the ultimate way of living, I choose this day to be spiritually conscious, and motivated in all that I do. I declare that by the inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit I approach life’s situation from the realm of the spirit  and applying God’s principles in Jesus name. Amen!
