“…for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power…” —Colossians 2:9–10 (NKJV)
In the opening text, we see that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus bodily. Now, in case you don’t know what that means, the fullness of the Godhead means that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are tabernacled in Christ. So in Christ are the Father, the Son (who is the Word of God) and the Holy Spirit. I know it might sound ridiculous but that’s the beauty of the trinity. The significance of this is that any man who identifies with Jesus automatically receives the Holy Spirit of God, who is the carrier of the presence of the Father. If believers could actually understand the word of God this way, they would never walk like ordinary men again.
In your walk with God, you must understand that you are a carrier of God. Why is this important? Well, it means you are not ordinary and there is power within you waiting to be unleashed. But the question is, will you take advantage of this truth? Well, you have to, because God wants us to. Unfortunately, this is not the case for most believers. Instead of being victors, they take the place of the victim and don’t know what to do. Most are not even aware that they have the power of God resident in them. On one occasion, Jesus spoke about Himself saying, “…do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works….” John 14:10 (NKJV). Did you see that? Meaning, all the miracles and expression of power, walking on water, multiplying bread, raising the dead was attributed to the Father (The Holy Spirit) who was in Him. Now, that same Holy Spirit dwells in you and He is ready to do mighty works through you as well. In fact, Jesus promised that we would do what He did, and more. He said, “most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” —John 14:12 (NKJV) So, I admonish you to take advantage of the presence of the Father in you, be conscious of it and appropriate the benefits in your life.

Confession for the Day
Father! I thank you for making me complete in Christ Jesus who is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Now I know that all I need in my life is inside of me. Therefore, from today I walk conscious of the fact that am not ordinary. I’m a God carrier and the divine life of God is actively at work in me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
