“…for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…” John 3:16 (NKJV)

I have meditated on our opening scripture long enough to realize that even though man had offended God, God was still concerned about the salvation of mankind. God so thought about our salvation to the point that He decided to send His Son Jesus Christ to come and pay the price for us. He knew that all of humanity was headed for doom; He knew that mankind had no eternal security, so He provided a way for salvation through Jesus Christ. He came to this world, humbled Himself and chose to take our place by offering His life for ours. He did it because He loved us so much and He proved it by dying for us on the cross of cavalry so that through His death, we might receive eternal life.

Now, that life has been given to us because Someone cared enough; the question is how many people would receive this life, because you care? Think about it. How many people are going to receive salvation because of you? This thought might have never crossed the mind of some people; but it is good to be aware of this fact. If you do not ask yourself this question from time to time, you will live for yourself alone and all the people who are supposed to be saved because of you will not be saved.

So, I encourage you today to make a conscious decision to be concerned about other people’s salvation. All you need to do is allow the love of God in you (Romans 5:5) to propel you into making necessary efforts that will eventually bring others to salvation. Remember, those who turn many to righteousness shall shine like the stars forever and ever (Daniel 12:3b)

TODAY’S RHEMA

A decision to turn others to righteousness is something you must do deliberately!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Glorious and ever living Father, I thank you for making it possible for me to receive salvation. In appreciation for my salvation, I declare that I will tell others about the good news and lead them to Christ in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
