“….So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight…”Mark 10:51 (NKJV)

As the year is still very fresh, one of the things you should get right from the very begining is clarity on your goals. Over the years, when a new year begins like this, people want to achieve a lot of things and in the process they either give up on it or get distracted. Why? Because from the beginning they weren’t clear on what they wanted. So the question I have for you today is this? Are you clear on your goals for this year? What exactly do you really want to do and achieve? I know this question might sound ludicrous but the truth is, you have to be clear on what you really want. Chasing too many goals at the same time may not get you what you want, so you have to be specific.

When blind Bartimaeus was crying out to Jesus for help, something happened. The Bible says, “….now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you….”Mark 10:46‭-‬49 (NKJV). Now, when he finally approached our Lord Jesus Christ, He knew this man was blind, but look at the question He asked him, “… what do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight…”Mark 10:51 (NKJV). Why did Jesus ask Him what he wanted? Well, it is simple, He wanted to be sure of what he (the man) wanted for his life and immediately he was sure, He gave him what he wanted. Beloved, if you can be clear on your goals, you will certainly win this year and my prayer for you is that you win in a big way. Hallelujah!
