Be a Christian Who Is Spiritually Minded (1)

“…to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace…” —Romans 8:6 (NKJV)

Do you want to see better days? Do you want to live in peace and have great prosperity? Do you want to dwell in divine health and live in happiness all the days of your life? If yes, then you have to make up your mind to be spiritually minded, that is the secret. Spiritual mindedness is the recommendation revealed to us by God in His Holy words to experience and live a wonderful life. In Romans 8:6 the Bible says “to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” In this scripture, lies all the success you want to see and experience in this life. As simple as it might sound, it speaks volumes. It says, “to be spiritually minded is life and peace” 

Now the question is, what does the Bible mean when it says to be carnally minded is death and to be spiritually minded is life and peace? First, you must know that carnal mindedness is enmity with God, it means to have the mentality of the people of the world and do things like the world, but spiritual mindedness means to love the Lord, to have the mind-set that the word of God brings, and to live by the dictate of God’s word. The question is, which one does the Lord want us to be? To be spiritually minded or carnally minded? Well, it is to be spiritually minded because this is the one that gives life and peace. I know that this might not go down well with a lot of people because they want to be spiritually and  carnally minded, but the truth remains that there is no middle ground. You can’t be on the fence on this one. Either you are spiritually or carnally minded. The choice is yours. So, as you journey in your walk with God, be spiritually minded, because the Bible in our opening text says, “To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace…” —Romans 8:6 (NKJV)

When you choose to become spiritually minded, you have automatically chosen life over death!

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for bringing this truth to me, I choose this day to be spiritually minded, and as I do, I am enjoying life and peace and fulfilling my destiny joyously in the name of Jesus. Amen!
