Hands together in praying to God along with the holy bible book

“…I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will…” Acts 13:22 (NKJV)

In the scriptures, we see examples of people whose hearts yearned after God. Their passion for God was genuine. One such example was David. David in the scriptures was a man after God’s heart. He made many mistakes, but his heart was after God. The Bible recorded that God gave a testimony and He said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all my will…” Acts 13:22. Did you see that? The question is, can God speak of you this way? When you study the life of David, you will see why God spoke of him that way. David indeed was a man whose love for God was like none other. His passion for the presence of God and the house of God was unparalleled.

He was so concerned about God’s desires that one day, he sought to build God a house because he couldn’t bear the fact that he lived in a palace as a king while the ark of God was in a tent. David was exceptional in his day and God wants us to be exceptional in our day also. Be the man or woman whom God can boldly say, is after His own heart. God wants you to live everyday pursuing the things He cares about. He wants you to hunger and thirst for righteousness, He wants you to be interested in changing and impacting lives. Therefore, make a conscious decision to be the man or woman God wants you to be, one who is after His own heart. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

God wants you to live everyday pursuing the things He cares about.
