“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” — Job 3:25 (KJV)

Having established the importance of avoiding the wrong imaginations in the first part of this article, you understand that this is not a subject to ignore. Whether you like it or not, your imagination is very powerful. I know that there are people who might not want to take this seriously, but as a believer, there are many things that contribute to your success or failure, and your imagination is one of those contributing factors. The devil knows how powerful the human imagination is, so he uses that most times to set many of God’s people up. When they fall for it, they become victims of their own imaginations, which is not God’s plan for their lives.

Beloved, it’s important you know that the mental pictures you allow or carry in your heart always give birth to something. Let me explain. You see, your imaginative ability is your creative ability. Meaning, as a believer, the best thing you can do for yourself is to carry the right pictures or images in your heart. That way, when your mental pictures begin to give birth, what they give birth to will be something that puts you in a place of advantage and not in a place of disadvantage.

You need to learn to produce the right thoughts and carry the right images in your heart so that when they bear fruit, they will produce good fruit and not bad fruit. Our future and life are totally dependent on what we think and how we think. If we think positively, we attract positive things to us. If we think negatively, we attract negative things. So, beloved, from today, start thinking positive thoughts and allowing the right mental pictures so that your future can be impacted positively. Amen!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, precious Father, for unveiling the truth to me today about my thoughts. Now I know that my imaginative power has the ability to create a bright future for me. Therefore, from today, I make use of my creative ability, which is my mind, to create the future I want to see in Jesus’ name. Amen!
