Man wearing white sweater and black shorts about to run

“…but they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them…” Hebrews 11:16 (NLT)

A wise man once said, “You haven’t prospered enough.” And I think this is absolutely true. There is so much in God’s reserves that man has not tapped from. You may be reading this article today, and you feel you are successful, well, I have news for you, “where you are now, is a good place but God can take you to a better place. You may have given your life to Christ and you are sure you have salvation but I have news for you, “You are in a good place but there is a better place than salvation, which is having an intimate relationship with God.” You may think you know God so well and there is nothing more to find out, well I have news for you, “you can’t know God too much not to aspire for the better place, there is a deep place too, and a deeper realm and a deeper level in knowing God.” See! So it’s always good to be in a safe place, but we can also aspire for a better place because where you think you are right now at your best level, may just be a starting point for another.

Something I love about God is His ability to take us to greater heights beyond where we are. No wonder successful men always aspire to do more, they most times always feel there is more to be done and more to achieve. Even with the discoveries made by science, they have not stopped aspiring for greater heights, they continue every day in research, wanting to uncover the undiscovered. Am not encouraging you to be dissatisfied with where you are, am only saying it is allowed to aspire for more, it is allowed to want more of God, it’s allowed to want to go deeper with God, it’s allowed to want more anointing and more grace. And obviously, we have a God who can satisfy our cravings no matter how high they are. He wants to take us to a greater height, He wants to take us to far ends in the spirit. But are you ready to journey with the Lord? Are your aspirations high enough to take you to the next level? Or are you satisfied with where you are or who you are? The choice is yours now to aspire for more.

Today’s Rhema

There are higher realms and there are higher things to achieve, just aspire for more!

Confession for the Day

Thank you heavenly father for the good places and the better places. I thank you for where I am today and I thank you for where you are taking me to. I choose to cooperate with you to move to greater heights in the name of Jesus. Amen!
